History and location

Founded in 1968, Vetroresina has produced Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester Laminates without interruption for over 40 years using its own process technology.
The extensive product range Vetroresina offers is the result of careful and continuous research in the field of composite materials, associated with the study and implementation of continuous improvements to our manufacturing technology.

In order to maintain its position as a market leader in the manufacture of innovative products Vetroresina has a major investment programme in place which will increase the production capacity, and further improve and diversify the product range, performance and aesthetic quality.

By exploiting advanced technologies, and by close collaborations with universities and experts in the composite field, Vetroresina is able to increasingly understand and respond quickly to changes in market requirements.

In Italy Vetroresina has a production capacity of 20,000m2 per day, located on a site which covers 46.000m2.

In June 2000 Vetroresina opened a plant in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which meets the needs of the South American market and in May 2008 the company opened a new production site in the U.S. which focuses on and manages the North American market.
